Feeling Uncomfortable With Hyperhidrosis

Posted on May 25, 2018

Hyperhidrosis causes a lot of discomforts, both physical and emotional. It's unpleasant to experience sweaty, wet, or irritated skin for long periods of time. It's also uncomfortable when people stare at wet patches on clothing or damp hair.

On MyHyperhidrosisTeam, the social network and online support group for those living hyperhidrosis, members talk about a range of personal experiences and struggles. Feeling uncomfortable is one of the top 10 topics most discussed.

Here are some conversations about feeling uncomfortable:

When I started public speaking I began to turn red, started sweating excessively, and just felt so uncomfortable.

I hate not wearing something on my feet either shoes or slippers but my feet get so bad they hurt.

So feed up been to the cinema, I became so uncomfortable with my head sweats I could scream.

Sweating has started after a bit of a Winter hiatus. Overall, not too bad yet, but enough to be uncomfortable when out.

Can you relate?
