Are you frustrated with finding effective treatments for hyperhidrosis?
Propantheline 15mg is working for me. Prescribed by the Dermatology clinic.
I’ve tried a few medications but the overall issue of long term use seems to maybe have an effect on kidney function so that be stopped and too be honest they didn’t have much effect on me .
I too have just been put on propantheline for head and hair sweating but not having much luck so far . Is it better to take on as and when required basis or take regularly - any advice on this anyone
I used to get very frustrated. ~20 years ago, my at-the-time Doctor tried me on two beta-blockers which did nothing. When I moved and got a new, local Doctor, I was tried on several topical solutions which again, did nothing. Fast forward, I have been taking Glycopyrrolate for a long time, and it works very well. I take 4 mg in the morning (two tabs) and two again in the evening.
